Presentation from NACo's Legislative Conference

NACIO Board Member Carolyn Marinan, chief public relations officer for Hennepin County (Minnesota), recently presented during the NACo Legislative Conference. During the Leveraging the Power of Media to Advance County Priorities and Combat Misinformation session, Marinan and county communications professionals from Arizona and Maryland discussed strategies used to deploy traditional and modern communications tools in order to combat misinformation and to relay accurate information and influence opinions.
