The work county communicators do varies across the country, but our goal is the same: present county government information to the public in an engaging and useful way. Getting involved in NACIO gives you direct access to your peers across who are happy to share information and ideas!

Become a Member: What's the slogan - membership has its privileges? NACIO members have access to the NACIO Listserve, which means you have a direct line of communication with peers across the country who handle the same roles, responsibilities and issues as you. Asking questions via the ListServe is a great way to gain insight, knowledge and assistance for your communication questions!

Attend NACo workshops: At each NACo Annual Conference (held in July) and Legislative Conference (held in March), NACIO members submit workshop ideas to be considered. The NACIO workshops are always among the highest-rated and best-attended workshops at the NACo conferences. If you have ideas for workshops that would be of value to elected county officials, please stay tuned to this website and submit your ideas when solicited.
